Top 10 Disney World Snacks!

If there is one thing Disney World has became well known for over the years, it's their food and with so much to chose from it's easy just to go on snacks for an entire day! Here are some of my favourite snacks from the parks and snacks I'm hoping to try soon.

#10 Cheeseburger Spring Rolls

This is one of the snacks I haven't been able to try yet but it is talked bout so much I just had to put it on the list. You can get them from an Adventureland stand in Magic Kingdom, however it is the most elusive Disney snack as the stand has random opening hours so it gives these spring rolls more of a legendary status.

#9 Pot Roast Macaroni & Cheese

When time on your Magic Kingdom Fast Pass is running out but you desperately need sustinance, this filling feed from The Friar's Nook will satisfy all your meal-on-the-go urges. Yo can also get pulled pork macaroni and cheese from Animal Kingdom that has amazing reviews!

#8 Mickey Pretzel

One thing you can get while walking round the park is the infamous Mickey Pretzel with cheese sauce. I'm not big pretzel person but they are great if you don't have much of a sweet tooth.

#7 Beignets

An added bonus of staying at Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is the close proximity to these delicious, New Orleans-style fritters, which are exclusive to this resort. Ever since watching The Princess an the Frog I've wanted to try Beigets and now I can just head to Port Orleans on my next holiday.

#6 Waffle Sandwiches

What's more american than chicken and waffles? Even Disney World has got in on the usual combination. With a freshly made, huge, waffle folded in half like a taco and then stuffed with either ham, prosciutto and swiss cheese; Nutella and fresh fruit or sweet and spicy chicken. These are so huge they barely count as a snack but they make for great for Instagram photos. You can find them at Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom.

#5 Cinnamon Roll

You will definitely need help finishing off one of these bad boys. You can get one of these enormous cinnamon rolls from Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom.

#4 Churros

I got to try my first ever Disney churro at Disneyland Paris at Halloween and they are amazing!! You can get these from Cantina de San Angel in Epcot at the Mexico Pavilion.

#3 Funnel Cake

You can actually get funnel cakes with sugar as a snack credit. Although you can get one that includes ice cream, the one with just powder sugar is just as delicious! There are plenty of sights to see at Epcot's World Showcase, but a brick of ice cream that famously resembles a slab of butter may be the most impressive one. Get this from the Funnel Cake Cart at the America Pavilion in Epcot and Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom.

#2 Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar

Come on. It just wouldn't be a trip to Disney World without at least one Mickey Bar, right? The smooth vanilla ice cream covered in glorious dark chocolate always hits the spot, especially on a sweltering Florida day in one of the parks. It may not actually be among the most decadent and best-tasting dessert items in the resort (although it is pretty damn tasty), but it is so intrinsically part of the Disney experience that virtually everyone includes it on their top-ten list.

#1 Dole Whip Float

If the Mickey Ice Cream Bar was on the list, you knew that Dole Whip had to be here as well. Again, an argument could be made that there are "better" desserts to be found at the resort, but Dole Whip is another Disney World ritual for many visitors. The weird thing is that it is not distinctly Disney; although it's not common, you can find pineapple-flavored soft serve outside of the Disney parks. But, my guess is that most people would probably opt for some other flavor given the choice at your local ice cream stand. Walking through Adventureland, however, a Dole Whip is a must-have for me and countless others. When you get a Dole Whip, make sure to get a float. It’s a little more expensive plus you get fresh pineapple juice with it! You can get this from Aloha Isle at Magic Kingdom or the Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Resort.
