Okay so it's kinda hard to give advice at this time on Hollywood Studios because it's completely changing but i'll try my best! Hollywood Studios (previously MGM Studios) is the third of the four parks to be built. The theme around the park is Hollywood, California in its heyday throughout the 30s and 40s. During the recent redesign of Hollywood Studios they removed the Sorcerer's Hat and the water tower leaving the park without an official designated icon (like Magic Kingdom has the castle).
Like the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios is divided into six areas, previously the Sorcerer's Hat served as the central hub however now sits a Star Wars Stage that features a show and fireworks.
Hollywood Boulevard
Similar to Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Boulevard serves as the park's main entrance with the theme inspired by the popular street in Los Angeles. The street is lined with stores and features live street entertainment and parades.

A 14-acre "Star Wars Land" is underway and will include two new attractions. A Millennium Falcon inspired attraction and the second will place guests in "a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance" Construction began in April, 2016 and it will undergo a name change before opening.
An 11-acre Toy Story Land is also going to be added with two new attractions as well as an expansion on the current Toy Story Mania! attraction.
Tip 1: Park Opening!
If you're an early bird and head to Hollywood Studios for park opening, every guest around will will head straight for The Tower of Terror or Rock 'n' Roller coaster to avoid lines later in the day. However when every guest has this thought the lines are never short, head to The Great Movie Ride, Toy Story Midway Mania! or Star Tours and you'll basically be able to walk straight on.
Tip 2: Toy Story Mania!
Toy Story Mania! is one of the most popular attractions in the park and wait times can reach up to two hours. If you book your Fastpass+ as early in advance as possible for anytime during the day you can also head there as soon as the park opens.
Tip 3: Rock 'n' Roller Coaster!
If you want to skip on a long wait time for Rock 'n' Roller Coaster go for the single rider line. If you don't mind being split up it's a great way of saving time!
Tip 4: Become a rebel spy!
If you have always wanted to be selected to be a rebel spy in Star Tours don't put your glasses on until the ride actually starts. It will increase your chances of being picked!
Tip 4: Get the boat!
If you are staying at Disney's Boardwalk or are at Epcot, avoid the buses or driving and just get the boat from the Swan and Dolphin hotels as well as the Beach Club and Boardwalk Inn.
Tip 5: Star Wars weekends!
Star Wars weekends take place in late spring and are wildly popular and feature Jedi Training Lessons and you can see actors from the franchise. If you want to avoid the busier weekends avoid the first and the last weekend of the event.
Tip 6: Tower of Terror!
Do not miss this ride! It is truly one of the best rides at all four of the Disney Parks. You can get a great photo op of your whole group and if you notice the wait time is at 13 minutes that means there is no wait time!
Tip 7: Fantasmic!
During the busy seasons Fantasmic! can be shown twice a night, always go for the later showing as it is much less crowded and you can get better seats. on regular nights start lining up 60 minutes before show time.
