After what has been the longest few hours of my life I can finally say I HAVE A FINAL INTERVIEW!!!
Oh my god I don't even know where to begin, so ever since Friday after the final day of pre-screens I have felt physically sick to my stomach. I came to the conclusion that some of the answers I gave in my individual interview were not good and I was resigning to the fact that I wouldn't get through. I realised we wouldn't get our results at the weekend but I just knew we would get them before Friday and since I had Monday and Tuesday off I was just praying we found out then so I didn't have to constantly check at work. So Monday goes by and nothing which I did expect and then Tuesday rolls around and I spent the entire day today just refreshing my emails. At 5pm I was messaging one of the girls from pre-screens and thought I would refresh my Yummy Jobs profile and it wouldn't load so I automatically assumed they were updating the profiles so the website had crashed. I messaged my other group chat to say I think it's happening and they all said na nothings happening with theirs so I gave up hope. UNTIL one of the girls messaged at 5:30pm to say she got through! So I was frantically refreshing my emails when my Yummy Jobs profile updated to say "awaiting user to confirm final interview" I was shocked but I wanted to read an email just to confirm everything and still nothing came through! Hours went by with everyone saying they had an interview but I had nothing! Then at 6:50pm I got an email from Disney Recruitment asking me to fill out an application form! It still wasn't confirmation to me but I filled it out straight away and then went and watched TV. One of the other girls that was waiting as well finally got her email at 8:30pm so I quickly checked mine and there it was! CONGRATULATIONS!! I am over the moon however waiting around for the email hours after everyone received them did take the excitement away a bit, it just meant more worrying in case they had made a mistake with my profile.
So now what?
I have emailed Yummy Jobs to confirm my attendance and there are two final interview dates, Monday the 5th of November and Friday the 16th of November.
Since I have already received my application for Disney recruitment that is one job done, once my application is reviewed by Disney I will be able to select my final interview date. Interview times are on a first come first serve so fingers crossed I can get an early one on the 5th!
I can't believe it I am FINALLY heading to Disney HQ!!
